 Access: The workshop will have step free access as well as ear plugs, ear defenders, and stim toys on hand for those that would like them.

Age Rec:                 16+ beginners friendly

This is a performance and storytelling workshop for refugees, sanctuary seekers or 1st generation immigrants, who identify as LGBTQIA+

Queering Folk is a performance & theatre-making workshop inspired by Eastern European folk & song theatre. Transit Productions very own Rebeka Dio will share their tools of reclaiming & queering folk tradition and cultural storytelling in theatre. The workshop will include the company's practice of polyphonic singing, devising, ensemble training & storytelling. A joining of voices and celebration of identity through creativity.

If interested in music and you have your own instrument that you’d like to bring, you’re welcome to do so!
