About GIVE OR TAKE:
Blending clowning, dance-theatre, and live electronic music, GIVE OR TAKE offers a queer critique of oppressive and imperialist bargains.
Join Bold Mellon Collective as they explore the power dynamics of gift-giving across
relationships and generations. Drawing from living folklore centred on femme resistance, they take the audience on a kaleidoscopic journey through time. The performance captivates with its spontaneous problem-solving, finds humour in its absurdity, and reveals a raw intimacy through its vulnerability, all propelled by a dynamic soundscape of pulsing kicks and soaring synths.
Unpacking celebration and transaction, GIVE OR TAKE asks: does anything ever truly come for free?
Accessibility:
GIVE OR TAKE is a relaxed performance and will be BSL interpreted. If you have any questions, please email boldmellon@gmail.com
